Ulster County had one gas station selling diesel gas at the lowest price of $3.09 per gallon during the week ending Jan. 10, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
The average reported price of diesel gas across the county was $3.70 per gallon.
Of the 98 reported gas stations located within Ulster County, 28 offered diesel gas.
The average reported price for a gallon of diesel gas in New York was $3.82, down from the previous week.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
