City of Middletown announces continuation of annual spring bulk clean up April 27

The City of Middletown announced on April 25 that the Annual Spring Bulk Clean Up will continue on Monday, April 27 in the Fourth Ward. Residents in this ward are permitted to begin placing items out for pick up starting Sunday, April 26.

This initiative is part of the city’s effort to assist residents with disposal of large household items. The city has provided a complete schedule, along with a list of acceptable items and rules for participation. Residents are reminded that no more than twelve items should be set out and that these should not be placed earlier than the Sunday evening before their scheduled pickup week.

For further details about which ward residents belong to or any questions regarding acceptable items, individuals can visit the city’s website or contact the Department of Public Works (DPW) Office at 845-343-3169.

Additionally, Middletown will hold its Annual Electronic Drop Off event on Saturday, May 30 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the DPW Garage located at 76 Monhagen Avenue. This event provides an opportunity for proper disposal of electronic waste.

The city encourages all residents to follow guidelines and schedules to ensure an efficient cleanup process.
