City Manager Todd Venning announced that the snow emergency in the City of Newburgh has been cancelled, effective immediately as of February 25, 2026.

Residents looking for updates on snow emergencies can access information through several channels. Updates are available by calling the City Hall Hotline at (845) 569-7398, which provides messages in both English and Spanish. Information is also posted on the city’s website, where users can sign up for immediate notifications through the Notify Me service. Additionally, updates are shared via social media on the City’s official Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/CityofNewburgh.

Local radio stations also broadcast snow emergency information. These include Pamal Broadcasting stations such as WHUD 100.7FM, WSPK 104.7FM, WBNR 1260AM, WLNA 1420AM, and WXPK 107.1FM; Fox Radio stations like Fox 103.1, Oldies 98.9/1220/105.3, and Fox Country 94.5; and Townsquare Media outlets including The Wolf (94.3/97.3), WRRV (92.7/96.9), WPDH (101.5), JUAN (95.7), and NOW (97.7).
