Former Newburgh Free Academy standout Marissa Scarano played on Saturday, May 17 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division I Softball Championship

On Saturday, May 17, former Newburgh Free Academy standout Marissa Scarano’s current collegiate team the Marist Red Foxes won 8-0 against the Saint Francis Red Flash in the NCAA Division I Softball Championship.

The game took place at Davis Diamond at 4:05 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Saint Francis Red Flash in the tournament.

The Marist Red Foxes’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 6:45 p.m. at Davis Diamond.
