On Friday, Feb. 14, former Kingston High School standout Gavin Groppuso’s current college team, the Wingate Bulldogs, lost 2-1 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the UVA Wise Cavaliers.
The game took place at Ron Christopher Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Cavaliers this season.
The Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 15 at 4 p.m. at Ron Christopher Stadium against UVA Wise Cavaliers.
