On Tuesday, April 8, former Kingston High School standout Gavin Groppuso’s current college team, the Wingate Bulldogs, won 10-8 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the UNC Pembroke Braves.

The game took place at Sammy Cox Field. This was their second matchup against the Braves this season.

The Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 11 at 4 p.m. at Ron Christopher Stadium against Catawba Indians.
