Halloween will take place on Friday, October 31, 2025. The holiday remains popular in the United States, with nearly three-quarters of Americans participating in Halloween or related activities each year. According to a 2024 report from the Farmers’ Almanac, about 35 million children are expected to go trick-or-treating.

As people prepare for Halloween festivities this week, safety remains a priority. “I encourage everyone to review the following Halloween safety tips my team and I have compiled based on information from a variety of sources,” said State Rep. Karl Brabenec (R-Florida).

Brabenec highlighted that Halloween is an opportunity for families and friends to enjoy time together but also emphasized the importance of staying alert and looking out for one another. “This Friday night, have fun and stay safe as you journey around the neighborhoods for scares and sweets!”
