On Saturday, April 5, former Kingston High School standout Gavin Groppuso’s current college team, the Wingate Bulldogs, won 11-6 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Southern Wesleyan Warriors.

The game took place at Ron Christopher Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Warriors this season.

The Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 8 at 6 p.m. at Sammy Cox Field against UNC Pembroke Braves.
