The City of Middletown announced on April 19 that the Annual Spring Bulk Clean Up will continue on Monday, April 20 in the First Ward. Residents in this ward are allowed to begin placing items out for collection starting Sunday, April 19.

This initiative is part of Middletown’s ongoing efforts to assist residents with disposal of bulk items and maintain neighborhood cleanliness. The city urges all residents to ensure their allotted twelve items are set out no earlier than the Sunday evening prior to their scheduled pickup week.

Residents seeking more information about the complete cleanup schedule, a list of acceptable items, or specific rules can access these details through a provided link or by contacting the Department of Public Works Office at 845-343-3169. The city also offers assistance for those unsure about which ward they reside in.

In addition to the bulk clean up, Middletown will host its Annual Electronic Drop Off event on Saturday, May 30 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the DPW Garage located at 76 Monhagen Avenue. This event provides an opportunity for proper disposal of electronic waste.

These scheduled events reflect Middletown’s continued commitment to supporting responsible waste management and providing resources for residents.
