The City of Middletown announced on April 12 that its Annual Spring Bulk Clean Up will begin Monday, April 13, starting in the Second Ward. Residents in the Second Ward may place items out for pick up beginning Sunday, April 12.

The clean up provides an opportunity for residents to dispose of bulk items according to city guidelines. The initiative is intended to help maintain cleanliness and support waste management efforts throughout Middletown.

All residents are reminded that they should set out no more than twelve items and only do so on the Sunday evening before their designated pickup week. For details about the full schedule, acceptable items, and specific rules for the cleanup, residents are encouraged to consult the official schedule or contact the Department of Public Works office at 845-343-3169 if they need assistance determining their ward.

Additionally, Middletown will hold its Annual Electronic Drop Off event on Saturday, May 30 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the DPW Garage located at 76 Monhagen Avenue. This event allows residents to properly dispose of electronic waste separately from bulk items.

These events reflect ongoing efforts by Middletown officials to provide structured opportunities for responsible disposal and community maintenance.
