Middletown High School standout Elyse Marcano’s college team won in NCAA Division II softball game on Friday, March 7

On Friday, March 7, former Middletown High School standout Elyse Marcano’s current college team, the St. Thomas Aquinas Spartans, won 5-3 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Edinboro Fighting Scots.

The game took place at Legends Way Ballfields. This was their first matchup against the Fighting Scots this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 2 p.m. at Legends Way Ballfields against Sioux Falls Cougars.
