On Sunday, Feb. 9, former Monroe Woodbury High School standout Sam Ryan’s current college team, the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns, won 8-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Longwood Lancers.
The game took place at Lamson Park. This was their first matchup against the Lancers this season.
The Ragin’ Cajuns’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 14 at 4:30 p.m. at Lamson Park against Northern Illinois Huskies.
