On November 10, 2025, Ryan highlighted concerns about economic challenges and the impact of the government shutdown on his constituents. He posted: “Big thank you to New Windsor American Legion Post 1796 & Post Commander Charlie Baranyai for having me at their Veterans Day Breakfast yesterday. Grateful for the opportunity to meet with our Orange County veterans & personally express my gratitude for their heroism.”
Pat Ryan has represented New York’s 18th congressional district since succeeding Antonio Delgado in 2022. Before serving in Congress, he was a member of the New York House of Representatives. Born in Kingston in 1982 and currently residing in Gardiner, Ryan is also a graduate of the United States Military Academy (2004), holding a Bachelor of Science degree.
