Rep. Pat Ryan, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing New York’s 18th district, recently shared a series of tweets addressing various community and national issues.
On May 17, 2025, Rep. Ryan invited constituents to Brexel-Schlathaus Park for assistance with federal programs and benefits. He announced via Twitter: “HAPPENING NOW! Need help accessing benefits or navigating a federal program? My team is here to help! Come by Brexel-Schlathaus Park before 3:30pm for the one-on-one assistance you deserve.”
Later that day, Rep. Ryan commemorated Armed Forces Day by expressing gratitude to military personnel. In his tweet posted at 18:47 UTC, he stated: “On this Armed Forces Day, thank you to my brothers & sisters in uniform for your bravery, unshakable faith in our country’s ideals, and the sacrifices you make that allow us all to live in safety and freedom.”
On May 18, as National Police Week concluded, Rep. Ryan extended his appreciation towards local law enforcement agencies across Hudson Valley. He tweeted at 15:26 UTC: “As National Police Week comes to a close, I want to thank every police department across the Hudson Valley again for their service to all our communities.”
Pat Ryan has served in Congress since replacing Antonio Delgado in 2022. Born in Kingston, New York in 1982 and currently residing in Gardiner, he graduated from the United States Military Academy in 2004.
