Rep. Pat Ryan, currently serving as the U.S. Congressman for New York’s 18th district, posted a series of messages on February 24 and 25 highlighting his ongoing efforts in partnership with local officials and outlining his legislative vision for the Hudson Valley.
On February 24, Ryan acknowledged Ulster County Executive Metzger’s collaboration, stating: “Grateful for County Executive Metzger’s partnership in fighting for Ulster County families & that my team could join to hear her vision for the future at her State of the County address.” He followed up with praise, posting: “She’s a true champion for our communities & I’m proud to work alongside her to help Ulster County continue to thrive!”
The following day, Ryan reflected on his own recent public address and national political developments. On February 25 he wrote: “Last week at my State of the Hudson Valley address, I laid out a clear vision to deliver a more affordable, more safe, and more free Hudson Valley for every family.
Tonight, I attended the State of the Union hoping to hear the President outline a plan to achieve those goals.”
Pat Ryan has represented New York’s 18th District in Congress since 2022 after succeeding Antonio Delgado. Prior to this role, he served in the New York House of Representatives. Born in Kingston in 1982 and now residing in Gardiner, Ryan graduated from the United States Military Academy in 2004.
