Rep. Pat Ryan, who represents New York’s 18th district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared updates on community events and local projects through his social media posts.
On April 15, 2026, Ryan invited constituents to participate in outreach efforts: “Join my team at today’s CARES Van events for one-on-one assistance with Medicare, VA benefits, passports, & more! If you need help with a federal program, but can’t join a CARES Van event, please give my team a call at (845) 443-2930.”
Later that day, he addressed concerns about delays in a local infrastructure project: “The Rhinecliff Station project is the product of years of community advocacy & bipartisan partnership at every level. DOT pausing construction & leaving the Hudson Valley in the dark is unacceptable – I’m demanding answers to get this critical project back on track.”
On April 17, 2026, Ryan highlighted a ceremony honoring Sojourner Truth: “Sojourner Truth is a beacon of freedom in the Hudson Valley. Proud my team attended the unveiling of a statue in her honor, thanks to Newburgh Free Library & @newpaltz. Special shoutout to Barbara Allen, a 6th-generation descendant of the fierce freedom fighter, for traveling”.
Pat Ryan has served as U.S. Representative for New York’s 18th District since 2022 after replacing Antonio Delgado. He previously held office in the New York House of Representatives and graduated from the United States Military Academy in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree. Born in Kingston in 1982, Ryan currently resides in Gardiner.
