Rep. Pat Ryan, who represents New York’s 18th district in the U.S. Congress, recently addressed constituents through a series of social media posts covering community observances, healthcare concerns, and constituent services.
On November 1, 2025, Ryan marked Día de los Muertos by stating, “On Día de los Muertos, we remember loved ones who are no longer with us & celebrate their legacies that live on with us. Wishing a meaningful day to everyone in NY-18.”
Later that day, he addressed rising health insurance costs in the Hudson Valley region: “Health insurance premiums are set to skyrocket across the Hudson Valley. 240K of our neighbors are at risk of losing coverage altogether. I’m fighting back & I need YOU to join me. Are your health insurance premiums increasing? Take my survey https://t.co/FoYz2xmrWU” This message highlights his call for community input and action as local residents face potential increases in healthcare expenses.
On November 2, 2025, Ryan informed constituents about opportunities for assistance with federal programs: “This week, my team will be in every corner of the Hudson Valley to assist you with federal programs like Social Security, Medicare, VA benefits, & more! If you need help, but can’t attend an event, please give my team a call at (845) 443-2930.”
Pat Ryan has served as the representative for New York’s 18th District since replacing Antonio Delgado in 2022. Before joining Congress, he served in the New York House of Representatives and is a graduate of the United States Military Academy (2004). Born in Kingston in 1982 and currently residing in Gardiner at age 41, Ryan continues to focus on constituent outreach and advocacy.
