Rep. Pat Ryan, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing New York’s 18th district, shared a series of tweets reflecting his commitment to service and community engagement. Ryan, who replaced Antonio Delgado in 2022 and previously served in the New York House of Representatives, uses social media to connect with his constituents.

On June 16, 2025, Rep. Pat Ryan expressed his gratitude for the values instilled in him by West Point, stating “West Point taught me how to live a life grounded in duty, honor, and country.” He highlighted his annual role in appointing Hudson Valley students to service academies and invited those interested in service to explore further information.

The following day, on June 17, 2025, Ryan announced an upcoming event for Hyde Park residents. He stated “Tomorrow, my C.A.R.E.S. Van team will be at the Dutchess County Office for Aging Senior Picnic at 11:30am!” This initiative offers direct support to constituents and requires prior RSVP via phone.

Ryan was born in Kingston, New York in 1982 and resides in Gardiner. A graduate of the United States Military Academy with a Bachelor of Science degree obtained in 2004, he continues to serve his community both as a congressman and through various local engagements.
