On July 9, 2025, Rep. Pat Ryan commemorated the ratification of the 14th Amendment which occurred 157 years ago. He emphasized its importance by stating that “We only experience the fullness of democracy so long as each and every one of our fellow Americans does.” He urged for a continued commitment to equality.
The following day, July 10, 2025, Ryan reported on his visit to the Earl Reservoir Dam alongside Woodbury Town Supervisor Luciani. In his tweet, he announced that “2 years after sustaining serious flood damage, Woodbury will receive $2M to make crucial repairs to protect Orange County homes, businesses & families.” He expressed gratitude towards Supervisor Luciani for their efforts.

Pat Ryan was born in Kingston, New York in 1982 and now resides in Gardiner. A graduate of the United States Military Academy with a Bachelor of Science degree obtained in 2004, he previously served in the New York House of Representatives before joining Congress.
