Rep. Pat Ryan, who represents New York’s 18th district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared updates on his official Twitter account about constituent services and local events in the Hudson Valley.
On August 4, 2025, Ryan recognized the U.S. Coast Guard’s birthday with a message: “Happy Birthday to the @USCG! Since 1790, the Coast Guard has fought through perilous conditions to keep our waterways & shorelines safe. Semper Paratus!”
Later that same day, he announced an outreach initiative: “Tomorrow my team is bringing assistance with federal programs to every corner of the Hudson Valley with the C.A.R.E.S. Van. Whether it’s at a National Night Out event, or at the Farmers’ Market in Newburgh, hope you’ll join!”
On August 5, Ryan provided a further update regarding these efforts: “Starting soon! My team will be assisting with federal programs at the Healthy Orange Farmers Market. If you can’t join this afternoon, but need support with Medicare, VA benefits, & more, my team will be at National Night Out celebrations across NY-18 – hope you’ll join!”
Ryan has served in Congress since 2022 after succeeding Antonio Delgado and previously held a position in the New York House of Representatives. Born in Kingston in 1982 and currently residing in Gardiner, he is also an alumnus of the United States Military Academy (West Point), graduating in 2004.
