Rep. Pat Ryan, who represents New York’s 18th district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted a series of updates on his official social media account regarding community events and federal policy issues.
On November 3, 2025, Ryan encouraged constituents to attend a local outreach event: “Today, join my team for one-on-one assistance with federal programs at the CARES Van event at the City of Beacon Memorial Building. Whether you have questions about Medicare, Social Security, & more or just want to say hi to my team – hope they’ll see you there!”
Later that day, he extended an invitation to veterans in his district: “Our veterans risked their lives to protect us & our freedoms – our nation is forever grateful. Every Hudson Valley veteran is invited to my Veterans Appreciation Luncheon on November 9 to honor them for their heroism. And to every veteran: thank you for your service.”
In another post on November 3, Ryan addressed federal nutrition assistance policy, specifically referencing actions by the previous administration: “Trump’s USDA was legally required to release this SNAP emergency funding. It’s a step in the right direction – but folks deserve better than ‘partial’ benefits. Trump needs to FULLY fund SNAP.”
Pat Ryan has represented New York’s 18th District in Congress since 2022 after replacing Antonio Delgado. He previously served in the New York House of Representatives and is a graduate of the United States Military Academy (West Point), class of 2004. Born in Kingston, New York in 1982, Ryan currently resides in Gardiner.
