Rep. Pat Ryan, U.S. Congressman representing New York’s 18th district, recently highlighted local emergency services and community outreach efforts in a series of posts on his social media account.
On August 8, 2025, Ryan listed several emergency response organizations in a post: “the New Paltz Rescue Squad, @TownWallkill Ambulance & EMS, Ambulnz Hudson Valley, Clintondale FD, Plattekill FD, @KingstonFD, @DutchessCoGov DER & EMS, Dutchess County EMS Council, Arlington Fire District, Roosevelt Fire District, @FairviewFireDis, East Clinton Fire District,”
The following day, August 9, he promoted National Farmers Market Week and announced his team’s participation at the Middletown Farmers Market: “It’s the last day to celebrate National Farmers Market Week! My team & the CARES Van will be out at the Middletown Farmers Market to bring one-on-one assistance with federal agencies directly to you. Hope they’ll see you there!”
On August 10, Ryan continued publicizing constituent services provided by his office through mobile outreach: “This week, the CARES Van is bringing my team to assist with federal programs at the @DutchessCoGov Senior Picnic & the Blooming Grove Town Hall. If you need assistance with anything from passports to Medicare, hope my team will see you there!”
Pat Ryan has represented New York’s 18th congressional district since replacing Antonio Delgado in 2022. He previously served in the New York House of Representatives and was born in Kingston in 1982. Ryan graduated from the United States Military Academy in 2004 and currently resides in Gardiner.
