Rep. Pat Ryan, U.S. Congressman representing New York’s 18th district since 2022, addressed two major issues in a series of posts on July 17, 2025: the release of the Epstein files and legislative efforts to improve public safety in the Hudson Valley.

On July 17, Ryan wrote, “Secretary of Transportation @SecDuffy refused to commit to even discussing the release of the Epstein files with Trump. Listen to him explain his reasoning: https://t.co/wT6oX55FHp”.

Later that day, he highlighted progress on public safety legislation, stating, “I pushed hard to get this bill on the floor – this is a huge win for bolstering public safety in the Hudson Valley. I’ll continue fighting to get fentanyl off our streets, hold drug traffickers fully accountable, and make our community more safe. https://t.co/KubkKz2Yh2”. He also shared a link for further details: “Read the full release: https://t.co/tdqUiyM0J7”.

Pat Ryan has served as a member of Congress since replacing Antonio Delgado in 2022 and previously held office in the New York House of Representatives. Born in Kingston, New York in 1982 and currently residing in Gardiner, Ryan graduated from the United States Military Academy with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2004.
