Rep. Pat Ryan, a member of the U.S. Congress representing New York’s 18th district since 2022, recently shared several updates on social media reflecting his focus on civil rights, public safety, and community support initiatives.

On February 12, 2025, Rep. Ryan commemorated the founding of the largest civil rights organization in U.S. history. He expressed gratitude to local chapters for their ongoing efforts towards community betterment in his district: “On this day in 1909, the largest civil rights group in our country’s history was founded.”

The following day, February 13, 2025, he reiterated his commitment to enhancing affordability and safety for his constituents with a succinct message: “More affordable, more safe, more free.”

Later that same day, Rep. Ryan acknowledged the contributions of first responders and law enforcement officers participating in an event supporting the Alzheimer’s Association. He praised their dedication amidst challenging weather conditions: “Great people and an even better cause.”
