Rep. Pat Ryan, who represents New York’s 18th district in the U.S. Congress, has announced new legislative efforts and constituent outreach through a series of social media posts on July 25, 2025.
In a post published at 17:32 UTC, Ryan stated, “Military families have sacrificed so much for this country – it’s absolutely unacceptable that they don’t have access to the same health care as every other American. I’m proud to introduce the ‘Health Care Fairness for Military Families Act’ to right this historic wrong.” He followed up moments later with another message emphasizing support for military families: “Our military families have stepped up and sacrificed for us, now we need to do right by them. Later that day at 19:08 UTC, Ryan promoted direct constituent services at a local event: “HAPPENING NOW! Have questions about a federal program? My C.A.R.E.S. Van team is here to help! Come by the County Fair in Otisville today before 5pm the direct, one-on-one assistance YOU deserve.”
Pat Ryan has served in Congress since replacing Antonio Delgado in 2022 and previously held office in the New York House of Representatives. Born in Kingston, New York in 1982 and currently residing in Gardiner, Ryan is an alumnus of the United States Military Academy (West Point), graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2004.
