Pat Ryan, who has represented New York’s 18th district in the U.S. Congress since 2022, recently used social media to invite constituents to a Telephone Town Hall and address concerns about national political developments. The posts were shared ahead of the event, with Ryan emphasizing his interest in direct communication with residents.

On July 12, 2025, Ryan posted an invitation for constituents to participate in an upcoming town hall: “Come to my Telephone Town Hall, this Monday at 7:30pm. I want to hear from YOU. More information below https://t.co/3YOqNvJMhj”.

The following day, July 13, he reiterated the announcement by sharing a link without additional commentary: “https://t.co/3YOqNvJMhj”.

Also on July 13, Ryan specified topics of concern for the town hall and again encouraged participation: “Tomorrow night at 7:30pm, I want to hear from YOU. If you have questions about how Trump’s ‘Big Ugly Betrayal’ will impact you and your neighbors, join my Town Hall using the information below. https://t.co/ClBaW9dIZe”.

Pat Ryan was born in Kingston, New York in 1982 and currently resides in Gardiner. He graduated from United States Military Academy in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree and previously served in the New York House of Representatives before joining Congress.
