Rep. Pat Ryan, U.S. Congressman representing New York’s 18th district, shared resources and opportunities for his constituents in a series of tweets on July 28, 2025.
In one post, Ryan provided information about local cooling centers during what appears to be a period of high temperatures: “Find Cooling Centers in Orange County at: https://t.co/EdYV58ih1K And in Dutchess County at: https://t.co/auynKetj8Z” (July 28, 2025).
He also posted a separate tweet containing only a link: “https://t.co/xRUgQWQWpW” (July 28, 2025).
Additionally, Ryan encouraged students interested in public service to apply for internships with his office. He wrote: “Calling all college students with a passion for public service – apply for an internship in my office! The deadline to apply for a fall internship in my district office is Aug 15 and the deadline for my DC office is Aug 1. Find the application below https://t.co/mQvKkHt0Fq” (July 28, 2025).
Pat Ryan has served as the representative for New York’s 18th district since replacing Antonio Delgado in 2022. Prior to his tenure in Congress, he was a member of the New York House of Representatives. Born in Kingston, New York in 1982 and currently residing in Gardiner, Ryan graduated from the United States Military Academy with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2004.
