Census Bureau: More women than men in Ulster County in 2019

Of the 178,665 people living in Ulster County in 2019, 50.5 percent (90,177) were women and 49.5 percent (88,488) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the West Hudson Valley News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 57,028-to-55,458. In the 65 and over age range, there were 18,828 females and 15,426 males.
