Census Bureau: More women than men in Florida in 2019

Of the 2,866 people living in Florida in 2019, 50.8 percent (1,457) were women and 49.2 percent (1,409) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the West Hudson Valley News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 910-to-796. In the 65 and over age range, there were 268 females and 192 males.
