With falling temperatures ahead, it's that time again for UC Emergency Management's Code Blue-Warming Center Activation, which begins this evening.The Warming Center will open tonight Tuesday, 11/8 at 7 pm then close Wednesday morning, 11/9 at 9 am. It will open again on Wednesday evening 11/9 at 7 pm then close Thursday morning, 11/10 at 9 am.The center is operated by Catholic Charities and is located at the 2nda Iglesia La Mision Church, 80 Elmendorf St, Kingston NY 12401. The center can be contacted directly at 845-481-4029.
Law Enforcement agencies or any other organizations that come in contact with or become aware of any individuals that are in need of sheltering can bring them to the warming center.
