74.3% of Orange County residents old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 398,277 citizens living in Orange County in 2021, 74.3% were old enough to vote, equating to 295,794 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 147,975 were male, constituting 50%, and 147,819 were female, making up 50%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Orange County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 79%.
