82.3% of Ulster County residents old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 181,862 citizens living in Ulster County in 2021, 82.3% were old enough to vote, equating to 149,731 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 74,382 were male, constituting 49.7%, and 75,349 were female, making up 50.3%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Ulster County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 79%.
