Assemblyman Chris Tague (R,C-Schoharie) took the time in Albany this week to express recognition and appreciation to two Vietnam War veterans residing in the 102nd Assembly District. The veterans, Thomas Andreassen and Sheriff Ron Stevens, were honored in the Assembly Chamber and given insight into the workings of the state government.

"I’m incredibly honored that both Thomas and Sheriff Stevens were able to join me today on this special occasion. The sacrifice these men and many more made is one not made by many around the world, and the work they did for this nation cannot be understated," expressed Tague.

Tague further stated, "I’m so proud to represent these men in state government, and I’m so grateful to them for joining us in Albany and allowing us to thank them for their service and sacrifice."

In a special message to all Vietnam veterans, Tague conveyed, "God Bless You, Thank You for your Service, and Welcome Home!"
