Former Valley Central High School player and current New Paltz Hawks outfielder, Jackie Rometo, will compete in the NCAA D3 Softball Championship Tournament.

They begin the tournament as a number three seed against the second seeded MIT Engineers.

The first game is on Thursday, May 16.
