Rep. Pat Ryan, a U.S. Congressman representing New York's 18th district, has been vocal on several issues through his recent social media posts. Serving in Congress since 2022, after replacing Antonio Delgado, Ryan is known for his advocacy on gender equality and veteran affairs.

On March 25, 2025, Rep. Pat Ryan addressed the issue of gender pay disparity in a post stating that "This year, for the first time in more than two decades, the gender pay gap WIDENED." He emphasized the need for legislative action by urging Congress to pass the Paycheck Fairness Act immediately as part of Equal Pay Day initiatives.

Later that day, he expressed support for fellow veterans with a call to action on accountability and transparency. Ryan stated "Proudly standing alongside a dozen of my fellow veterans with a simple demand: Launch an FBI investigation and hold public hearings." He warned that House Democrats would initiate their own hearings if necessary.

On March 26, 2025, he posted a link encouraging further reading about these topics and others he is advocating for in Congress "Read more: https://t.co/mW5kch6bZw".
