Rep. Pat Ryan, representing New York's 18th District, has recently shared several updates regarding his ongoing efforts to support local farmers and assist constituents in accessing federal resources. His recent communications highlight concerns over federal policies affecting family farms and detail initiatives aimed at aiding community members.

In a post dated March 26, 2025, Rep. Ryan expressed his commitment to working with farmers such as Rick to secure necessary federal assistance. He stated, "I’m working around the clock with farmers like Rick to get them every piece of federal assistance possible." He emphasized the importance of perseverance by adding, "We cannot give up the fight."

On the same day, Rep. Ryan addressed threats posed by the Trump Administration to Hudson Valley family farms. He asserted that "The Trump Administration is directly threatening to put Hudson Valley family farms out of business." Ryan urged for action from Trump's USDA to release funds he claims have been unjustly frozen.

Additionally, on March 26, 2025, Rep. Ryan announced an initiative designed to aid residents in navigating federal programs through his C.A.R.E.S. Van project. The announcement stated: "Need help accessing benefits or navigating a federal program? My team is here to help!" The van will be available at Bowdoin Park in Wappingers Falls during Dutchess County’s Pancakes in the Park event.
