Thank you to George for writing a testimonial letter about the care received at Garnet Health Medical Center – Catskills.
“This letter is to compliment and thank your staff, from lab techs to ER to CCU nurses, for the outstanding treatment and care I received while in the Harris facility. I suffered a ‘mild stroke’ late Tuesday evening, disabling my left side, but I was able to walk out of the hospital on my own Friday afternoon.”
George expressed gratitude for the immediate attention received in the ER. “Without the immediate attention I received in the ER, the outcome most certainly would not have been so good. Medicine was used that mitigated the stroke impacts and has limited its immediate and longer-term issues. Top shelf.”
He praised the RN staff in CCU: “The RN staff in CCU is the best. Those women were there every minute for service and monitoring as needed, the whole time.” He highlighted their human touch: “And it is not just the mechanical part of the service provided, but in 12 hours each day, they all shared and talked about life and health matters and feelings that kept the care moving, but with a truly human touch and kindness.”
George also commended lab techs: “The lab techs and others who take samples and perform tests were also super in their work. Without images to see what is happening and test results to monitor changes, it is all a guess, but they all did their part at all hours day and night.”
He acknowledged leadership’s role: “I thank all your people, but great team results don’t just happen. Leadership and management guidance from you and your senior staff must also be recognized for those results.” George concluded by expressing appreciation for having such medical care available locally: “It is so great to benefit from and have such medical care in Sullivan County.”
“Thank you.
George H. Haas”
