The lowest reported price for premium gas in Sullivan County was $3.47 per gallon during the week ending Jan. 10, available at one gas station, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.

Premium gas prices averaged $4.03 per gallon in Sullivan County.

Of the 57 reported gas stations in cities within Sullivan County, six offered premium gas.

Across New York, the average reported price for a gallon of premium gas fell to $3.88, compared to the week before.

U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
