Cairo-Durham Central School District issued the following announcement on Oct 29.
After one month of planning, plotting, and creating designs, Grade 7 was crowned the winner of the P2 bulletin board decorating contest at CDMS!
The Positivity Project (P2) Committee tasked each grade with creating a bulletin board following the theme of “Fall into Positivity.” After planning as a team, including some virtual contributions, teams found rare spare moments to work in person while keeping their boards hidden from other teams. While it was challenging to create the boards between hybrid schedules, trying to keep six feet of distance and not sharing supplies, the results were fantastic!
The bulletin boards were judged on how clearly they expressed the P2 theme, the layout and the overall creativity.
The winning design was the Grade 7 bulletin board, which depicted mystical images over a colorful fall mountainside and included original quotes related to P2 traits. The whole class received an ice cream prize.
