On November 19, 2024, Rep. Pat Ryan expressed his congratulations to Beacon and the Beacon Fire Department on Twitter: "A huge congrats to Beacon & the Beacon Fire Department! This new fire station is a game-changer & will help equip our firefighters & EMS with the resources they need to keep Beacon families safer."

The following day, November 20, 2024, he acknowledged efforts regarding World War I veteran John Lodge Stoneman's unclaimed remains. He tweeted: "For 62 years since his passing, WWI veteran John Lodge Stoneman's remains went unclaimed. I'm grateful that my office assisted Wiltwyck Cemetery volunteer Kathy Wade in her tireless efforts to obtain Lodge Stoneman's military records so he could have the proper burial he earned."

In another tweet posted shortly after on November 20, 2024, Rep. Ryan shared his experience delivering a speech in honor of those involved in recognizing Lodge Stoneman’s service: "It was an honor to deliver a speech on the House floor to thank Kathy & the countless others who made it their mission to lay Lodge Stoneman in his rightful resting place, alongside his fellow heroes & ensure his place in American history is recognized for years to come."
