Due to the extremely low temperatures over the past weekend, there is a high likelihood that pipes in vacant or temporarily unoccupied properties have been damaged, causing leaks.
The public is advised to be vigilant regarding anything that sounds like running water in neighboring properties.
If you hear or observe anything that could indicate broken water pipes in a neighboring unoccupied property, please call the Water Department immediately at 845-565-3356 or our Emergency 24-hour line at 845-561-6080.
