94 percent of applicants to Mount Saint Mary College were admitted for fall 2018

At Mount Saint Mary College, 83 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 71 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Newburgh enrolled 2,352 students in fall 2018, including 2,005 in undergraduate and 347 in graduate programs, data shows. 7.7 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

82 percent of undergraduates are residents of New York, and 18 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (56 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (17 percent).

The school admitted 94 percent of the 3,588 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 12 percent enrolled.
