Cost of college went up for all students at Mount Saint Mary College

Tuition and fees rose 4 percent for 2018-19 at Mount Saint Mary College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

New York students paid $31,118 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $1,198 more than the $29,920 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 398 students received grants or scholarships totaling $7.7 million and 317 students took out student loans totaling more than $2.5 million.

Including all undergraduates (2,352), 1,786 students used grants or scholarships totaling $27.7 million, and 1,501 students took out $10.7 million in federal student loans.
