Windham-Ashland-Jewett Central School issued the following announcement on Dec 29.

We hope you had a wonderful holiday and that your children continue to enjoy and relax as we approach the end of break. Due to a number of variables, including the continued elevation in infection rate across Greene County, WAJ will continue providing remote instruction for all students through January 08, 2021.

This decision is made out of the necessity to help control viral spread within our community and out of an abundance of caution for the safety and well-being of our students, families, employees, and community. Please do what you can to minimize your risk of infection or spreading the COVID-19 virus.

In the event that a representative of the Greene County Department of Health contacts you, please be cooperative so that our joint efforts can help limit further exposure and/or spread.

 Thank you!
